The leaving party to end all leaving parties...

We're still a little overwhelmed by the events of Saturday night, but we just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all our wonderful friends for coming to our farewell party. We had the BESTEST night, and we owe a massive debt of thanks to Zoe and Tom for organising everything, right down to the little touches that made it all the more special. Where do we start? The plasma screens with DVDs of amusing pictures of us; the maple leaf decorations, the balloons, the posters, the pictures, the DJs, the drinking, the dancing, the list goes on...

As is always the way with these things, I feel like I didn't get the chance for a proper chat with many, and I hope to see more of you before we go on our merry way in three weeks time... *looks at diary and shudders*

I'd also like to apologise to anyone that I blubbed all over. Blame Ben. It was all going fine until he came and gave me a hug goodbye. And for those of who had a sweepstake bet on Jethro crying - hah! Congratulations to Jim for winning the prize - he knew Jethro was harder than you lot think!

(And a big shout out to Wendy and Nat for winning the quiz too! They knew that Ottowa is the capital of Canada and that I know at least three people called Wendy, which makes me very posh indeed!)
